Concept document rules

§1 The Concept Document can be seen as a slimmed down version of a mixture between a Game Design Document and a Pitch Document. The Concept Document should outline the game, i.e. no technical specifications or long stories.

§2 The Concept Document may contain two A4 page text at most (smallest allowed font is Times New Roman, 10 points), but it can include as many images as are needed (with a short text below the images) to convey the concept – hence the document can be more than one A4 page in total.

§3 The concept document must include the following information at the top left corner of the first page, in the following order:
  1. Game name
  2. Team name
  3. Game genre
  4. Multiplayer support [yes/no]
  5. Platform [PC/other]

§4 The Concept Document must be in either PDF (.pdf) or Microsoft Word (.doc) format.

§5 The Concept Document must be named “game-team.pdf” or “game-team.doc”, without the quotes, where “game” is your game name and “team” is your team name. There should be no spaces in the document name, use underscores (”_”) instead.

§6 The delivery deadline for the concept document is August 2010.
