However, the graphics have that cool retro nostalgia which is not so easy to achieve (simplicity can also look shabby). I wouldn't mind this screenshot being made into a poster and hang in my kitchen, for example.
I will try and play this game, but I am too restless to be very good at strategy.

You are correct that the graphics are mostly functional and we don't have a lot of fancy effects or anything. Focus is on the strategy. Make sure you play it with your girlfriend and tell us what you think!
I have only drawn the user interface graphics, but I can tell you that the white triangle is a heap of snow or "snödriva" as we call it in swedish.

I like turnbased strategy games so I would like to play your game... however the graphics could be better... I miss some nice background art for example... And what are those white things in the middle?
